Parents
We look for certain traits when trying to select dogs for our breeding programs. All of our dogs are genetically health tested by UC Davis.
Daisy is the “MAMA HEN” of our entire pack. She keeps everyone in line. She is one who we began our journey with and could not be more proud of her and the beautiful liters she has given us. Daisy is also one the best mamas I have been blessed-to have, Daisy nurtures all the puppies whether they are hers or not. She has a lovely temperament and gives us such sweet hugs! Daisy and I have a special bond; she has always been the “one dog that can see into my soul.” She is a red fawn with white markings. Daisy is now retired and living her best life!!
This lad is a “TRUE GENTLEMAN”. I have never met a male dog more courteous. Diesel always allows the ladies to eat first. He always allows them to exit and enter the house first. In addition, he stands guard when another dog is in proximity of “his” girls. Diesel is a seal male with white “sugar feet” and dashing chest markings. He has a very sweet disposition with adults as well. He has more of a relaxed demeanor and is not as hyper as some Italian Greyhounds can be. Diesel has produced beautiful babies. Diesel is also retired and the sire that helped us begin our journey.
This is our “TALKER.” Ariya is a “Biggie Iggie” — but don’t tell her! She loves to lie on her back and make you pick her up when it is time to go outside. Ariya loves to cuddle in the bed and talk to you. She has an amazing temperament. She is blue with beautiful white markings. Her best friend was oldest son’s pitbull, Shyla. You would often find Ariya laying right on top of Shyla or playing a game of tug of war with her. Ariya is an amazing mother and always has stunning puppies.
Our “SWEET ANGEL,” this little gal is the most affectionate dog I have ever been fortunate enough to have. She loves to be held and carried like a baby. She will take her paw and gently tap your face or arm just to make sure you are looking down at her and paying attention. We have been asked numerous times to “name our price” for her. June is the daughter of Daisy and Diesel; she is a red fawn with white markings. She is on the petite side for an IG, but a wonderful mother and a blessing to our family. She does have a mischievous side; she loves to do sneak attacks on Rhenn – all the time!
My little “SIDE KICK,” Isabella never leaves my side. She follows me everywhere I go. This little lady is also the first to get under the blanket with me each night. She gets so excited when she sees me head in the direction to even get it! A wonderful cuddle bug! In addition, she is a jumper. Jumps, jumps, jumps like a little jumping bean! Isabella is also the daughter of Daisy and Diesel. She is a seal and an average-size IG. Isabella loves her snuggle time in the late afternoon. She is a very sweet girl who is so well-behaved.
Ciara, our “GREAT WHITE HUNTER,” is such a funny girl. She loves to hunt and bring her findings back. Ciara is so alert to every noise and everything happening around her. In addition, she is very loving and enjoys showing how much affection she has to offer. Ciara is also the daughter of Daisy and Diesel. She is a red fawn with beautiful white markings. She likes to keep her lady figure and prefers to stay on the petite side. Ciara is a wonderful mother and produces striking puppies.
Rhenn is our “MASTER AGITATOR” who loves to tease and play with the other dogs. Most often, you will find him with one of his best buddies, June or Diesel. Rhenn has a very relaxed personality. Anything you want to do is fine with him. However, he absolutely loves to tease the pack. Such a funny guy! He enjoys and sometimes demands his cuddle time. Rhenn has fathered many gorgeous puppies. He is blue with a very small amount of white and, moreover, a great addition to our group.
“BIG HEAD” Shyla was our odd ball. Many of our customers got to meet her in person at pickup or seen her during FaceTime videos. She was a spayed, brindle pitbull and is not in our breeding program. Shyla was another mother hen to our puppies. They always fell in love with her! She absolutely loved our adult IGs and all the puppies and they loved her too. When the puppies are old enough to socialize with the adults, Shyla mothered them and allowed them to climb all over her and nibble at her ears and big jowls. Unfortunately, due to a tragic accident Shyla is now watching over all of us at the Rainbow Bridge. WE ALL MISS HER SO MUCH! REST IN PEACE SWEET ANGEL!!
